Do you want to learn Spanish as if you were a child?
Have you ever wondered why some students seem to remember everything? At the same time, do you struggle to add new terms to your vocabulary?
We are here to help you learn Spanish using cartoons, which is the solution to your problem.
Let the games begin!
“Peppa Pig” (“Peppa La Cerdita”)
Peppa is so well-known worldwide that I’d be amazed if you hadn’t heard of her.
This lovely pig lives with her parents and younger brother and grandpa and grandma, who are around most of the time.
Peppa and her younger brother frequently get into mischief to learn the episode’s lesson. Still, overall, she is a pretty kind child. To learn the Spanish language effectively, you must enroll in the top Spanish language classes.
“Peppa Pig” includes themes like sports, cuisine, holidays, occupations, hobbies, modes of transportation, and so on, making it an excellent animation for expanding your vocabulary. Check out the many video collections in Latino Spanish. Each movie contains entire episodes on a single topic. Have a good time!
“Caillou”
Caillou is a charming four-year-old kid who observes and learns about his surroundings with the support of his father, mother, and sister Rosie.
What I appreciate best about this animation is that it genuinely depicts the world through the eyes of a four-year-old, showing scenarios and issues that other children can relate to. Caillou can be seen buying new shoes and thinking he is the quickest boy in the world, getting a toothache, traveling to an amusement park, or visiting an ice cream parlor.
As mentioned earlier, some episodes are available on the YouTube account, generally in the form of hour-long films. However, many shorter films use WildBrain’s unique stop-motion animation of Caillou and his family and friends.
Caillou is just four years old, yet his family speaks to him as if he were an adult. As a result, it is recommended that you know a little Spanish before watching this.
“Muzzy”
The BBC’s “Muzzy” language program for youngsters may be yours for as little as $4.12 per month!
Muzzy is a massive, adorable extraterrestrial that encourages everyone to learn new languages. He will begin by teaching you basic vocabulary and gradually adding additional terms. The curriculum employs the immersion method and focuses on repetition and practice to help you recall the new words.
The course contains a website and an app, online games, learning videos, songs, vocabulary builders, printable tasks, and even an online language recording studio where you can record your voice!
If you want to study the Spanish language like a child, this program is for you.
“Spongebob Squarepants” (“Bob Esponja”)
That hasn’t heard of Spongebob, the sponge who lives underwater in a pineapple?
I’ll admit that Spongebob is one of my guilty pleasures. This animation is amusing, and it has greatly aided my understanding of Polish.
Spongebob was not primarily designed to teach Spanish to children. Therefore the level ranges from upper-intermediate to advanced. You may, however, turn on the subtitles and become plunged (literally) into a sea of crazy and humorous escapades that will take you off guard time and time again.
Bob, Patricio, and Calamardo will make your Spanish sparkle like a diamond. You’ll be grateful afterward!
As a bonus, the channel listed above is Nickelodeon’s official Spanish-language account, where you can view clips from “Bob Esponja” episodes (or occasionally even live-streamed episodes!), as well as clips from other classic Nickelodeon kids, as shows in Spanish.
“Noahs!”
I believe we have all been Noah at some point in our life. Thus he will be highly relevant to you.
Noah is a nine-year-old child visiting his grandmother in a place where everyone but him speaks Spanish.
Noah is the first to confess that we all make errors! He attempts to learn the language and improve his abilities by trial and error with the support of the people around him, who have a lot of fun with him.
If you watch this animation, you will learn primary Spanish everyday language with Noah. He will make errors so that you do not have to.
“Minimalitos”
“Minimalitos” is an animated series for young children learning Spanish.
It was created in Argentina to help youngsters realize the significance of embracing our differences and loving one another no matter what. It tells stories and adventures with the assistance of various animals that get along just fine.
The videos in the series are all free to watch on the website. You may also download the app, play games, read, sing songs, or participate in the suggested activities.
“Los Lunnis de leyenda” (“Lunnis Legend”)
My 2-year-old nephew introduced me to “Sunnis,” and I was so pleased and intrigued that I watched the first two seasons with him in one sitting.
Through songs, “Lunnis de Leyenda” is an excellent approach to learning about history and its important figures. Allow Lucrecia and the Sunnis to educate you about Quevedo, Velázquez, Ulises, and Marie Curie. At the same time, you sing along and learn important global facts you may not have heard before.
Even though the series was made for young children, it is not a program designed expressly to teach Spanish. Thus the language may be challenging at first. However, the songs are so catchy that you’ll be singing them by heart in no time, so don’t worry if you don’t understand everything at first!
“PJ Masks.”
Connor, Amaya, and Greg are three tiny superheroes who strive to save the world at night while going about their everyday lives during the day.
It’s an excellent animation for learning Spanish words connected to being a decent person. Each episode focuses on a different aspect of human conduct and what you can do to set a positive example. You will learn not just Spanish but also how to be a good citizen!
Help the PJ Masks battle crime and teach you a lesson by becoming a hero.
“La patrulla canina” (“Canine Patrol”)
Do you enjoy puppies? Do you like being a nice person?
Then you’ll appreciate pups teaching you how to be a decent person in Spanish.
“La patrulla canina” is a puppy patrol that is always on the lookout for individuals in need. The puppies educate children on the importance of helping others and being friendly to everyone, even if they are “different.”
These adorable puppies are extraordinarily talented and will wow you with their tricks in each episode. They utilize a language that three- and four-year-olds can readily grasp, so it shouldn’t be too challenging if you already have some knowledge of Spanish terminology.
The official Nick Jr. channel, which is linked above, uploads clips and, on occasion, whole episodes of their shows. To watch clips from cartoons other than “La patrulla canina,” search their video collection for a title in Spanish.
“Dinopaka”
If dinosaurs are your thing, don’t miss this animation from the authors of “Minimalitos.”
“Dinopaka” depicts the story of Felipe, an Argentine youngster who receives an unusual computer as a gift. The computer allows him to travel within an ancient game filled with dinosaurs. Each episode educates him about a different element of these enormous creatures’ life, from how they feed to how they are born.
If you like the “Jurassic Park” franchise and want to learn everything there is to know about dinosaurs in Spanish. This is the animation for you!
